Dr. Benedict Ong Huai Ern is a veterinary anesthesiologist and educator. After earning his master's degree, he completed a PhD in veterinary anesthesiology at the University of Miyazaki, Japan, and subsequently served as a Senior Lecturer at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). Currently a resident in Veterinary Anesthesia and Analgesia at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine (WCVM), he serves on the Board of Directors for the International Academy of Veterinary Pain Management (IVAPM) and on the World Small Animal Veterinary Association (WSAVA) Global Dental Committee. Dr. Ong is an active international speaker and contributor to pain assessment initiatives across Asia and North America.
